The Season will be starting early this year with the news of the eclipse kicking up a whirlwind of excitement. The complete and utter lack of snow and ice this winter is certainly going to help this early transition – cottages can be opened sooner, business will be firing up much sooner than usual and hopefully, shipments, supplies and goods will be delivered to the area sooner than usual.
Please do keep this in mind if you are traveling to the area. Most of the area businesses have scheduled seasonal deliveries which are usually an extra month off – which means it will trickle on back to the suppliers and create an above normal strain on the system. Lets all remember to be patient and be kind.
Also, quite a few of the local businesses will be closed on the day of the eclipse, or closing early – make sure you call ahead, check their social media pages and plan accordingly.
