About/Contact

Arts of the Bay is an art studio in the heart of the north country. Located on the shore of Lake Ontario, it is home base for wadsworth-noll studio and mixed-media clay and plaster artist, Tracey Jean.

A self taught mixed media plaster  and clay artist, illustrator and sculptor Tracey jean has been included in multi-state gallery exhibits, tours and shows including having multiple pieces on permanent collection with the Art House Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. She has been published in several national and international publications, including the Canvas Project V2. Encyclopedia, Altered Bits Curated Mixed Media Collection “Notorious” and several editions of Stampington & Company, Art Dolls Quarterly. Both her mixed media work and pure sculpt creations are collected nationally and internationally and can be found in galleries and gallerias along the east coast.

After throwing off years of conventional fine art, she now concentrates on finding new ways to incorporate texture and body into her mixed media work and living in the north country gives her an endless source of inspiration.

Whether creating mixed-media, sculpting, mosaics, watercolor or encaustics she observes her work as she does life “full of cracks, crevasses and rifts, a few mounds and peaks and a surprising amount of rises coming together, beseeching the observer to touch.”

Custom work and commissions are accepted on a limited basis.
